App "Campus by Clase Privada" and web platform. Applicable framework: Law No. 29733 — Personal Data Protection Law (Peru) and its Regulation (D.S. 003-2013-JUS).
Aligned with Privacy Policy version 2.0 · 2026-06-23This page explains how to request deletion of your Campus account and erasure of your personal data. You can use it without installing the app and without signing in. There is nothing to download and this page asks you for no data.
Nobody signs up in Campus. The app has no public registration: accounts are issued by the school to its community (students, families, teachers and staff) from their enrolment or employment relationship.
That is why the request is addressed to the school. Under Law No. 29733 the school is the data bank owner — it decides the purpose of processing and answers to you — and Clase Privada is the data processor: it processes data on the school's behalf and under its instructions. See §1 of our Privacy Policy. If you write to Clase Privada, we forward your request to the school that issued the account and tell you where it was forwarded; the decision over the academic record remains the school's.
You need neither the app installed nor an open session. An email, or a letter to the school, is enough.
These windows are the ones the system actually enforces today, not an intention: they come from the same retention matrix the automatic job runs and that §2.3 of the Privacy Policy publishes. Each school may shorten or extend them for its own institution.
| Data | What happens | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Account access | Deactivated — from that moment the person can no longer sign in on the web or in the app. | when the request is handled |
| National ID, phone, address, email, photograph, medical notes and special educational needs | Irreversibly overwritten — both in the student record and in their admission application. They cannot be recovered. | 365 days after deactivation |
| Already-archived records (reversible deletion) | Permanently removed | 30 days after archiving |
| Backups already taken | Disappear through their own rotation — a backup is a full dump and is not edited: it expires. | 14 days |
| Full name | Kept — they appear in the official academic records and registers the school must keep. | the school's |
| Grades, attendance, evaluation records and report cards | Kept — they are official academic documentation; see section 5. | the school's |
| Audit log | Not purged automatically — it is the evidence of processing that Law No. 29733 requires to be demonstrable; erasing it would leave your own request unproven. | no automatic window |
| Blood type, tutoring file (including its health notes) and wellbeing support plans | The automatic job does NOT reach them: the school erases them when handling your cancellation request. | school's decision |
The windows are those of the Regulation of Law No. 29733, counted from receipt of the request:
That window is to answer you and carry out what applies. Permanent removal of already-archived records and anonymization of the record happen afterwards, within the automatic windows in section 3. If the answer does not satisfy you, you may turn to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPD).
It would be easier to write "we delete everything" here. It would not be true, and promising it would be misleading you.
Evaluation records and academic registers are official documentation. The school issues them, reports them to the State — in Peru, through the Ministry of Education's system — and is required to keep them: they evidence that a person attended and passed a grade, and their study certificate and transfer to another school depend on them. Neither the school nor Clase Privada may erase them on request. Because the student's name appears in those records, the name is kept even after the rest of the record has been anonymized.
The same applies, for different reasons, to the audit log (it is the proof of what was done with the data and by whom) and to payment receipts, subject to tax rules. Everything else — what identifies and describes you — is indeed deleted or anonymized, within the windows in section 3.
Besides this page, anyone who can sign in to Campus has an in-product screen to exercise their ARCO rights — cancellation included — and track the status of the request: Data protection (student) and Data protection (guardian). ⚠️ Both screens require signing in, so they are of no use to someone who no longer has an account, has lost access, or never had one: that is what this page is for, and the email channel always works.
